Cenium are proud to announce that they are now members of the BAHA the British Association of Hospitality Accountants.

As well as having many objectives around standards and training the BAHA is dedicated to supporting and promoting the use of technology for its member hotels.

Many of Cenium’s staff have an accounting background including our Managing Director Peter Lingham who is qualified Chartered Accountant. With Cenium supplying The award winning Microsoft Dynamics Financials we looks forward to being involved as an active member of the BAHA both as a hotel software provider and as accountants.

One of the highlights of Hostec 2008 for Cenium was a presentation given be Carl Oldsberg the Revenue Manager for Choice Hotels Scandanavia. Carl controls the Revenue Management for over 150 hotels thoughout northern Europe and in his presentation he details how Choice Hotels increased their revenues by 38%, when the industry norm was 8%, by using Dynamic Pricing made possible by implementing Cenium Revenue Mangement.

Welcome to the first post of the Cenium blog. Cenium UK Ltd have recently officially launched in the UK at Hostec.
